The editorial policy of Bukovina Mathematical Journal is based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with international standards of academic integrity. The journal publishes exclusively original scientific results and ensures transparency, impartiality, and responsibility at all stages of the publication process.

Academic Integrity

The editorial office adheres to zero tolerance for:

●       plagiarism and self-plagiarism;

●       fabrication or falsification of results;

●       citation manipulation;

●       duplicate publications.

All manuscripts undergo verification for compliance with the principles of academic integrity.

Authorship

Authorship must reflect a real scientific contribution to:

●       the research concept;

●       obtaining and analyzing results;

●       preparing the text of the article.

Persons who have not made a significant contribution cannot be listed as co-authors.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors are obliged to report any circumstances that may influence the objectivity of the evaluation. In the event of a conflict of interest, the relevant person does not participate in the consideration of the manuscript.

Ethical Requirements for Research

When submitting a manuscript containing research results involving humans, animals, and/or personal data, authors are obliged to confirm compliance with ethical norms and requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine. A mandatory condition is the provision of a positive conclusion from the relevant ethics committee or other authorized body (if such a requirement exists for the relevant type of research).

Authors must:

●       ensure that informed consent from research participants is obtained;

●   comply with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on personal data protection;

●       upon request of the editorial office, provide documents confirming the ethical legality of the research.

Compliance with ethical standards is verified by the editorial office at all stages of manuscript consideration.

Responsibility of the Parties

●   The Editorial Office: ensures the confidentiality and impartiality of peer review; makes decisions exclusively based on the scientific value of the material; does not allow discrimination on any grounds.

●   Reviewers: carry out an objective and reasoned assessment; maintain confidentiality; report possible ethical violations.

●    Authors: guarantee the originality of the research; confirm the absence of parallel submission; bear full responsibility for the content of the publication.
