Abstract
We investigate linear and quasi-linear differential equations with essentially infinite-dimensional elliptic operator (of the Laplace-Lévy type). For a quasi-linear equation, we prove a theorem on the existence and uniqueness of a solution. Also we obtain a parallel with ordinary differential equations and algebraic equations.
